Oliver Sargent

Oliver is a specialist employment lawyer with considerable experience when it comes to complex and high-value litigation. He acts for numerous household-name clients within the retail, transport and healthcare sectors, and tends to manage discrimination and whistle-blowing cases that turn on technical points of law.

Oliver is known for taking a pragmatic and assertive approach to achieving his clients’ objectives.

Oliver's separate advisory practice requires him to coach managers on a broad range of employment and HR topics such as disciplinary/grievance cases, company reorganisations and the employment law implications that exist within wider corporate transactions. He also regularly delivers training and seminars to clients about how to manage internal cultural issues within their workforce.

Oliver began practising employment law in 2014, after which he qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in September 2018 before being admitted to the roll of solicitors in June 2020.
