TLT partner nominated for top prize at the PICCASO Privacy Awards
Gareth Oldale, partner and head of data privacy and cybersecurity was nominated for his outstanding contributions to the fast-growing data sector.
The PICCASO Privacy Awards recognise and honour all the individuals who are shaping the present and future of privacy and data protection. The awards bring together professionals from a variety of sectors and services who are supporting organisations to embed privacy into the heart of their organisational strategies.
The nomination reflects Gareth’s expertise in developing the next generation of leaders in a supportive firm with forward-thinking values. With over a decade of experience at the forefront of technology and data law serving commercial and public sector customers, Gareth’s strategic leadership role has seen the team more than double in headcount and treble in revenue under his stewardship.
Gareth commented: “It’s an honour to be nominated for this award. Privacy is an area of law that’s important and relevant to everyone. Our work is challenging but also demands that we’re commercially-minded, pragmatic and reasonable. There’s never been a more challenging – or stimulating – time to be intimately involved in this field!
“Stoking this enthusiasm in my team members as their skills and expertise develop allows me to guide the next generation of privacy leaders – ensuring they handle diverse clients and tackle complex casework with passion, care and attention. It’s a serious responsibility, but one that I thoroughly enjoy.”
The winners of the PICCASO Privacy Awards will be announced on Thursday 8th December 2022 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
