Experience

Providing specialist legal advice from a licensing and practical perspective on proposed legislation granting greater protection to shopworkers when, for example, they refuse to sell alcoholic beverages.
Advising a pub company in connection with various health and safety and regulatory matters including: food safety and hygiene; gas and electrical safety; anti-social behaviour; noise; statutory compliance testing; and Equality Act compliance.
Advising on health and safety compliance issues. Recent advice has included advising on a local authority investigation into an alleged carbon monoxide exposure in a pub kitchen.
