A partnership for sustainable action: TLT and Belmont Estate
18 months on from becoming Belmont Estate’s first corporate partner, Maria Connolly, head of future energy and real estate, sat down with their Estate Manager Gil Martin, to talk about:
- the Belmont mission
- the importance of shared values in successful business partnerships
- and why a reconnection to nature is vital in the race against climate breakdown.
The Belmont team run nationally important rewilding, rewetting and regenerative agriculture programmes and their rewilding projects are now home to over 1000 species of animals and plants.
At TLT, we believe that businesses have an important role to play in tackling the climate crisis and that collective action is key to making a difference at the pace that's needed. Our partnership with Belmont is part of TLT’s commitment to working with other sustainability-minded organisations to support environmental and social goals and has also enabled our people to learn about nature and conservation through a volunteering programme.
