TLT shortlisted in North West Rainmaker Awards 2022
TLT has been shortlisted for the deal under £15m award at the North West Rainmaker Awards 2022, strengthening the firm’s record as a leading adviser for transactions in the region. The Rainmaker Awards are run by business news site TheBusinessDesk.com and celebrate the best corporate finance deals, teams and individuals in the North West.
TLT was recognised in this category for the firm’s work advising active growth capital investor BGF on its £5m investment into apprenticeship training provider Apprentify. The investment, alongside debt funding from OakNorth allowed the business to expand and acquire a digital training provider for adults seeking to up or reskill. The deal also supported the group to execute a buy and build strategy in the apprenticeship and adult education market.
Richard Life partner at TLT commented: “The BGF investment into Apprentify will fuel the training provider’s growth and will also support the expansion of the apprenticeship and adult education market. We’re pleased this deal has been selected as one of the top deals in the North West by the North West Rainmaker judging panel. The nomination is a welcome recognition from the region’s deal making community of the outstanding work and achievements delivered by our corporate team”.
The firm was selected by a judging panel of 40 senior corporate finance professionals appointed to review and nominate this year’s most significant deals. Winners will be selected by approximately 100 people from the region’s deal making community who will vote for the best deals of the year on a “one firm, one vote” basis.
Winners will be announced at an event taking place on 30 June at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
