Automotive

We advise more than a dozen dealer representative bodies and councils and count five of the UK's ten largest dealer groups as clients. We also advise the UK's largest independent vehicle importer and a leading global parts supplier.
Through our work with the National Franchised Dealers Association and the European Council for Motor Trades and Repairs, we're at the forefront of every major regulatory initiative affecting European motor retail – from unfair trading practices to CARS2020.
We're also familiar with, and have negotiated, many industry agreements - from dealer agreements and qualitative standards though to stocking finance contracts.
We know the pressures at play in automotive retail. We're able to bring our experience to bear for a variety of automotive clients, including owner-driver businesses.
As well as advising on dealer agreements, the team's expertise extends to wider regulatory and corporate defence issues such as trading and advertising standards, financial services regulation, health and safety and environmental concerns.
In 2018 we were named Legal Advisory Firm of the Year at Credit Strategy's Car Finance Awards 2018 in recognition of our leading position in the market and the quality of our team.
We're finely tuned to recognising the major issues affecting the industry in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, to the point where we help shape the agenda.
We provide forward thinking, innovative, commercially minded advice to safeguard the interests of our automotive clients.
