TLT appointed to Anglian Water legal panel
Anglian Water supplies water and water recycling services to more than six million customers in the east of England and Hartlepool.
The company was looking to appoint firms that demonstrated relevant sector knowledge, an understanding of business critical issues, commerciality, and innovative and collaborative ways of working.
Esther Smith, employment partner at TLT, says: “The water industry is a heavily regulated one, with those regulatory obligations impacting significantly on workforce matters. With increasing pressure stemming from pricing reviews, Anglian Water continues to look to external providers to support its excellent in house legal and HR resources.
“We’re delighted to be working with Anglian Water and look forward to building a strong and long term relationship with them, as we have with other clients in this sector.”
The appointment is set to last five years, with the possibility of a three-year extension.
TLT was appointed to Welsh Water’s legal panel in January 2020 (planning and environmental) and enjoys a long standing relationship with Southern Water and South West Water.
