TLT expands real estate offering with appointment of public sector expert
David, who joins from Pinsent Masons where he led its national public sector development practice, brings a wealth of experience to TLT having advised numerous government departments, local authorities, London boroughs and other organisations operating in the public sector (including some government agencies).
David has many years’ experience dealing with a wide range of property transactions with a particular focus on the acquisition of land/property and large-scale housing/residential led development schemes and advising on property regeneration in the public sector.
At TLT, David will work closely with senior partner and co-head of government and public services Andrew Glynn and with partner and head of affordable housing Linda Convery, continuing to lead on public sector development. They and the wider team will provide strategic guidance and project specific advice to public sector clients on substantial re-development and regeneration projects.
David’s appointment further increases the firm’s real estate offering, specifically bolstering TLT’s position as a leader in housing and regeneration projects for the public sector.
Linda Convery, partner in TLT’s real estate group and head of affordable housing commented: “David’s unrivalled experience providing expert legal advice to public sector organisations and his comprehensive knowledge of the sector will help us provide specialist support to a range of clients with particular requirements. David’s appointment is part of our objective to develop our UK-wide public sector real estate practice and we’re delighted to be welcoming such a well-regarded and talented professional to TLT.”
David said: “I am delighted to be joining TLT at an exciting time as it continues to grow its national group and develop its list of capabilities in this practice area. TLT boasts an impressive portfolio of public sector clients, supported by an array of talented lawyers, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to prepare those clients for what comes next.”
