
TLT in the running for 2019 Manchester Legal Awards hat-trick
TLT LegalSifter is nominated in the law firm innovation category. It was announced in December 2017 and is the first contract review and negotiation 'combined intelligence' solution in the UK legal market, combining AI technology with in-built advice from human lawyers.
The firm's corporate & commercial team are shortlisted in that category based on quality of service, notable cases from the last year, how skills are transferred to younger team members, commercial value and financial performance.
The firm is also shortlisted in the Firm of the Year category based on financial performance, approach to attracting and retaining staff, commitment to equality & diversity and client wins.
The winners will be announced on 7 March 2019.
TLT launched in Manchester over five years ago and from a standing start has grown to over 100 people, playing a key role in driving the UK firm's 60% growth in fee income during that period.
In the last year, the firm has made two high profile appointments to its Manchester office including immediate past president of Manchester Law Society and commercial disputes partner Jon Hainey and leading employment partner Paula Cole. Corporate lawyer Liz Delaney and real estate lawyer Phil Moran were also promoted to the partnership.
