Bars, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs

We work with owners, operators and funders across the sector. Our clients range from single sites operators to those with thousands of properties across the UK.
Clients instruct us on high level strategic matters as well as to advise on business as usual and estate management matters. We also help clients in the design and implementation of their administration and operational functions to support brand development and growth.
Our expertise covers corporate structures, site acquisition and development and fundraising both on and off market. Across the sub-sector we support our clients with advice on matters concerning licensing, statutory compliance, brand management, supply chain, data protection, franchising and employment issues.
Our sector focus means our lawyers are fully immersed in the bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs sub-sector, and our knowledge of the operational issues that impact on leisure businesses allows us to more effectively tailor our advice to fit our clients’ commercial interests.
We regularly consult with Government and statutory bodies in relation to new legislation. As well as helping influence sector change, we are ideally placed to provide advice on change management.
