TLT advises Alpha Real Renewables on solar project acquisition
The solar farm, commissioned in 2017, provides enough electricity to power 1,000 homes and adds to Alpha Real Renewables’ portfolio of over 200MW of installed capacity across the UK.
The TLT team was led by corporate partner Antonia Silvestri and head of clean energy Maria Connolly, supported by chartered legal executive Nick Rains.
The team carried out due diligence in respect of corporate, property, commercial and construction matters and advised on the corporate transaction documents, using the strength in depth of TLT’s clean energy specialists to complete the transaction.
Maria Connolly, head of clean energy at TLT says: “This acquisition demonstrates that the market for operational clean energy assets remains strong, with both UK and international investors seeing the significant potential of the sector.
“We have noticed a growing trend in investors increasingly looking to add renewable assets to their portfolio and TLT is proud to play a role in the development of clean energy projects across the UK.”
