Eva Wanzenböck, Managing Director of Romer Labs says: "With the acquisition of FAC, we are underscoring our commitment to food allergen testing in the United Kingdom. We’re grateful for TLT’s support with all aspects of the transaction ensuring that we received pragmatic and clear legal advice on the M&A process in the UK."
Alice Gardner, corporate partner at TLT says: "This acquisition represents yet another milestone for Romer Labs in the rapidly growing food allergen testing market, and we’re pleased to be supporting them in their growth.
“This transaction highlights that despite the continued uncertainty of Brexit, European corporates continue to make strategic acquisitions here in the UK to expand their capabilities and their client offering.”
Romer Labs, a unit of the ERBER Group, now owns 100% of shares in FAC, which will be operated as a subsidiary of Romer Labs UK Ltd under the name Romer Labs FAC.
