TLT shortlisted in Go:Tech Awards 2020
The awards, which were launched in 2018, celebrate the UK's tech pioneers and innovators and recognise fields like robotics and automation, clean tech and AI.
TLT won the same category at the 2019 awards for its work on a multitude of notable digital projects. This included advising Open Bionics, the pioneer of low-cost prosthetics using 3D printing, on a £4.65m Series A investment.
Nina Searle, partner at TLT, says: "We're delighted to have been selected as a finalist in this category for the second year in a row. We have been involved in a number of notable deals over the last twelve months across our regional offices. This nomination recognises the strength of our national fast growth team and our strong presence in the market.”
Notable recent projects include advising Huboo, a growing e-commerce fulfilment and storage company, on a £14m series A funding from European VC Stride and Hearst Ventures, joining previous investors Maersk Growth, Episode 1, Ada Ventures and True Capital to take the total raised to £18m.
The team also advised Amdaris, an industry-leading software developer and digital transformation specialist, on a £6m investment from BGF and advised CMAP, a Wilmslow-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, on its investment from Northedge Capital.
The nomination comes after TLT's recent nomination for Best Legal Team for Early Stage Deals in the UK Business Angels Association Awards 2021.
The Go:Tech Awards winners will be revealed in April 2021.
