Tamara Raoufi

Tamara is a Legal Director in the Financial Services Regulation team.

She advises financial and non-financial institutions (including banks, fintechs and payment institutions) on a broad range of UK and EU regulatory matters, encompassing both advisory and transactional work.

Her practice includes advising clients on governance arrangements, the SMCR, consumer credit, payments regulation, the Consumer Duty and financial crime. Tamara has worked closely with both established and challenger banks on authorisations, policy and risk management frameworks, and regulatory engagement with the FCA, PRA and PSR. She has undertaken a secondment supporting a multinational bank and has co-authored a chapter on EU banking regulation in The Banking Regulation Review.
