
TLT grows Legal 500 rankings
The firm grew its number of Tier 1 rankings and was recommended in a broad range of practice areas, including banking and finance, commercial property, corporate and commercial, employment, insolvency and corporate recovery, and licensing.
Twenty five TLT lawyers were also recognised as ‘Leading Individuals’ including seven new entries: Caroline Loudon; Ed Cotton; Ewen Macgregor; James Forsyth; Kane Kirkbride; Sean McCay; and Stuart McBride.
A further 14 people were ranked as ‘Next Generation Lawyers’, including two new entries: Caitriona Morgan and Leeanne Armstrong. Five new lawyers joined Debbie Reynolds as a ‘Rising Star’: Debbie Gale; Lizzie Stone; Michael McDougall; Roisin McGlinn; and Sarah Green.
Managing partner John Wood said: “To be recognised for the high quality of our service by the Legal 500 and our clients is incredibly important to us. The results show the strength and breadth of our offering across the UK and the continued growth in our teams. We continue to be ambitious and to invest in developing our offering to ensure we are always focussed on how we can best support our clients.“
The firm continues to grow across the UK with reported revenues of £98.8m for the financial year 2019/20 – a 13% rise from £87.6m in 2018/19. It has also made a number of strategic lateral hires in the last 12 months to build scale in specialist sectors, which include Clean Energy; Digital; Financial Services; Leisure, Food & Drink; Public Sector; Real Estate; and Retail & Consumer Goods.
Legal 500 UK is an annual guide to the UK legal sector and used by buyers of legal services. It ranks law firms and lawyers across legal specialisms and geographic regions, identifying the most highly respected legal professionals in their areas of expertise.
